Question
I'm really concerned about bad breath. I brush my teeth every morning, but I've noticed the bad smell comes back after I eat during the day. What's causing this and how can I keep my breath fresh all day? It's getting a bit embarrassing and I'm not sure what else to do. Could it be something I'm eating or maybe I have a dental issue I'm not aware of? Any advice would really help.

To avoid bad breath throughout the day, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene. In addition to brushing your teeth in the morning, make sure to also brush your teeth after meals. You can use a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine or cetylpyridinium chloride to reduce bacteria in the mouth and freshen breath. Additionally, chewing sugar-free gum or mints containing xylitol can help stimulate saliva production and reduce bad breath. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can also help keep your mouth moist and reduce odor.
