Question
I'm really concerned about my situation. I think I might have piles, but I haven't seen a doctor yet. I've been using Anovate for about 78 months, and it used to help with the pain. However, since coming abroad and having to walk a lot, the pain has become unbearable, especially when walking, and now I can feel a bump in my anus. There's also some bleeding when I pass stool. I'm planning to return to India in a week, but the pain is getting too much to handle, and it's hard to walk. I'm using stool softeners, but they're not really helping, and the bump just seems to be getting bigger. Anovate isnt working anymore, and I'm not sure what else I can do until I get back. Can you advise me on how to manage this until I can see a doctor?

Sounds like you are experiencing worsening symptoms of piles (hemorrhoids). Since you are already using Anovate, you can try using Preparation H cream along with it for better relief. Apply Preparation H cream to the affected area twice a day, especially after passing stool. Additionally, you can take oral pain relief medication like Ibuprofen 400mg to help with the pain and inflammation. It is important to continue using a stool softener like Duphalac to prevent straining during bowel movements. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat a high-fiber diet to help with bowel movements. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult with a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
