Question
I'm really concerned about my son's condition. We found out he has an extra vertebra in his neck after he complained of neck stiffness and we visited an orthopedic doctor. I'm wondering if having this extra vertebra is something serious. Could this lead to any major issues or is it something we should closely monitor?

An extra vertebra in the neck, also known as a cervical rib, is a rare condition that usually doesn't cause symptoms. However, it can cause pain or weakness in the arm. Treatments can help with these symptoms
