I'm really concerned because I've been having this shortness of breath and dry cough for like a year and a half now. It's really unsettling and I just cant figure out whats going on. I've been trying to quit smoking and managed to stop for a month, but I slipped back into having one cigarette a couple of times a week. Now whenever I do smoke, I feel this strong chest tightness and discomfort for a couple of days, and even hear a cracking sound in my trachea when I'm doing normal stretches. It's kinda freaking me out since I'm really trying to switch to a healthier lifestyle. Back when I was in the US, I used to take supplements like Glutathione, NAC, and Omega 3. Do you think those might help with what I'm experiencing, or should I be worried about something else?

I'm 21 and have been dealing with wheezing for the past 5 months. I've seen several doctors and they all mention it's due to mucus build-up. They prescribed me some tablets, and I've completed the course, but it's still not getting better. A few have also mentioned that I have a condition called pigeon chest, and that this could be why recovery is taking so long. I'm really tired of taking meds with no relief.
