I'm really worried about this fungal infection on the skin around my scrotum. It's been there for a while now, and nothing seems to be helping it go away. I've got some pictures if that helps to explain things better. What do you think could be causing this, and what should I do next? Should I come in for a check-up right away?

I've been having this really annoying issue with my skin; it started as just itching and at first, I thought it was just because of sweat. I even tried using mupivate ointment but it didn't seem to help at all. The skin is just peeling constantly and it's all on my lower back. Whenever I sweat, it gets super itchy, and I've noticed it's actually been spreading over the last six months. Do you have any suggestions for a cream or anything external I could apply to help with this?
