Question
I'm really worried about how much melanin my body seems to be producing lately. It feels like it's getting worse every day. I started using sunscreen, but I'm scared the damage might already be done. How can I prevent and reduce melanin production effectively? Any advice would be really appreciated.

To prevent and reduce the production of melanin in your body, in addition to using sunscreen, you can consider using topical creams containing hydroquinone, kojic acid, or azelaic acid. These can help lighten dark spots and inhibit melanin production. You can also incorporate vitamin C serums into your skincare routine, as they have brightening properties. Additionally, oral supplements like glutathione or vitamin E may help in reducing melanin production internally. Make sure to consult with a dermatologist before starting any new treatment.
