I'm really worried about my 80-year-old dad. He got diagnosed with a throat infection recently and he was already feeling weak, so they had to give him a blood transfusion. Now the doctor says he's got jaundice and might only have two to three months left. Can you help me understand what's going on and if there's anything we can do?

I'm a bit concerned about my symptoms over the past few days. I started with a mild fever and took Combiflam to help me sleep. The next day, my fever got worse, so I switched to DOLO.
