Question

I'm really worried about my dad. His CT scan just showed that he has right-sided pleural effusion with a solid component, and there's something about subsegmental collapse consolidation. Could these findings mean he might have developed some kind of malignancy? I'm not sure what to think and could really use some guidance.

I've been dealing with some gastric reflux issues and I've noticed this weird pattern where after a few minutes of breathing normally, I find myself needing to take a deep breath or I start yawning, but then I can't really complete the yawn. It's like it's stuck or something. Sometimes my nostrils also feel like they get blocked and I'm wondering if all these could be connected somehow? I've been noticing something concerning over the past month. Every morning, I start coughing up blood, and then it begins to come from my nose too. The blood's dark red, kind of like a clot. I'm not dealing with a sore throat or any weakness, but it's worrying. Could this be serious?

I'm a bit worried because I had a chest infection and hemoptysis back in 2016, but antibiotics worked then. In April 2017, I experienced more hemoptysis, and the culture showed MTB for Pulmonary ATB, which I completed 9 months of medication for. Since then, I've sometimes had blood in my cough which the doctor said is from a scar. But today, I sneezed and there was blood again. My doctor advised taking Pause 500 in these situations. Is it normal to have blood in my cough after TB or could this be a new infection?
