I'm really worried about my grandfather. He just had a CT scan, and the doctors in our town said he has ILD. He smoked once, worked at a cotton mill for two decades, and has been in agriculture and poultry farming. With all this, plus his age, I'm just wondering how much longer we can wait before seeing a specialist. Are there any temporary measures or remedies we can take at home to keep his ILD from getting worse until we can get that appointment? Would love any advice you can share.
