I'm really worried. A couple of days ago, I accidentally hit my wife on her right cheek, and now her jaw on that side is swollen. It was starting to get better, and she didn't have any pain for about two weeks. But suddenly, yesterday, she's in a lot of pain again, and the swelling has increased. Should we see a dentist, or would a regular doctor be better for this?

I'm brushing my teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once after dinner, using Colgate toothpaste and an Oral B brush. I brush for over 10 minutes each time, but I noticed these black spots on my teeth that aren't going away. In fact, they seem to be getting worse and are now on five of my teeth. Hey, so I've been dealing with this really uncomfortable pain on the left side of my forehead and my upper left gumsteeth. I tried taking some crocin pain relief this morning because it was just too much to handle, but I'm still struggling to eat on my left side without pain. Chewing is especially tough. The gumspain hasn't gone awayany idea what might be happening or what I can do?

I haven't taken any medicine for it since it's not really bothering me in terms of chewing or giving me a toothache. My mouth doesn't feel dry either, but I'm still concerned. Should I be worried about this swelling, or is it something that might go away on its own?
