Question
I'm trying to figure out the best way to use benzoyl peroxide with my sunscreen. Should I be putting on sunscreen before or after the benzoyl peroxide? And how long should I wait between applying the two? I'm a bit confused about the order and timing, could you help clear this up?

When using benzoyl peroxide (BPO) and sunscreen together, follow these guidelines: *Application Order* 1. *Benzoyl peroxide first*: Apply BPO to the affected areas, allowing it to dry completely. 2. *Sunscreen second*: Apply sunscreen over the treated areas. *Waiting Time* Wait at least *15-30 minutes* after applying BPO before applying sunscreen. This allows the BPO to penetrate the skin and reduces the risk of pilling or reduced efficacy. *Additional Tips* 1. *Choose a gentle sunscreen*: Opt for a fragrance-free, non-comedogenic sunscreen to minimize irritation. 2. *Select a broad-spectrum sunscreen*: Ensure the sunscreen provides broad-spectrum protection (SPF 30 or higher) to prevent further skin damage. 3. *Reapply sunscreen regularly*: Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours or immediately after swimming or sweating.
