I'm using Sternons lotion for psoriasis based on my doctor's advice, applying it to the middle fingernail of my left hand because of the nail pitting. But now my whole body is itching. Could this be a side effect of the lotion, or is there something else going on? I've been using it for three days and I'm taking Viterma capsules too. What do you think?

Steroid-induced itching: A known side effect of topical steroid use. 2. Allergic reaction: You might be allergic to one of the lotion's ingredients. 3. Systemic absorption: Although unlikely, it's possible that the steroid is being absorbed into your bloodstream, causing itching. Other factors to consider: 1. Viterma capsule: Interactions between the capsule and the lotion might be contributing to the itching. 2. Psoriasis itself: Psoriasis can cause itching, and the lotion might not be fully addressing the underlying condition.Stop using the lotion: Temporarily discontinue use to see if the itching subsides.
