Question
I'm Zac and I've been having some issues lately. My tonsils have turned a yellow color, and it's been going on for a few days now. They seem to be getting worse, and there are more spots than before. About a month ago, I had a lot of swelling and pain in the same area. I'm really worried about what's causing all this. Any advice?

Pain in the jaw and throat area can be puzzling. Tonsillitis typically causes sore throat, fever, and difficulty swallowing. Your symptoms, focused on the outer throat and jaw, might suggest alternative causes: - Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder - Jaw alignment issues - Referred pain from dental problems Consider consulting an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist or a dentist for a thorough evaluation.
