Question

Is it normal for an oximeter reading to jump between numbers, like sometimes it shows 95 and then just a few seconds later it's up to 98 or 97? Should I be worried about these fluctuations or is that just how these devices work?

I'm really concerned about this chest pain I'm experiencing. I've been dealing with allergic bronchitis and phlegm buildup for about 2 years now. My doctor said its not a disease, comparing it to a scar from an old injury. What does this mean? Should I be worried or is it nothing to stress over?
