Question

I've been dealing with a dry cough lately, and in the mornings, I'm coughing up white sputum. I got tested for COVID, and it's negative. I've also had bronchitis for the past couple of years. Right now, I'm using steam inhalation and the Budecort inhaler. Could you please suggest any other medicines or treatments that might help?

I'm really concerned about my wife. She's 32, doesn't smoke, and has had this persistent dry cough for almost a month now. It's like clockworkevery 30 minutes, and the coughing lasts about 4 to 5 seconds. We've already seen a pulmonary specialist. The first time, he prescribed some antibiotics, and then after two weeks, they did an X-ray, which came back normal. The doctor switched up the meds after that. It got slightly better for a bit, but for the last 4 days, the cough has returned, especially when she's lying down. I'm attaching the last prescription we received for reference. Right now, she's only using an inhaler twice a day as the rest of the medication course has ended. Could you give us any advice on what might be happening or what we should do next?

I'm feeling like my chest and lungs are always tight, especially after jogging or even just walking, I don't feel any relief or openness. I usually just smoke 1 to 2 cigarettes a day and drink alcohol on Sundays, but this tight feeling in my lungs just doesn't go away. Could this be related to my smoking habits or maybe something else? I'm a bit worried and would love some advice.

I'm a bit confused about my mom's diagnosis. Her CT scan showed something like patchy airspace acinarization and some nodular radio opacities, and she has prominent bronchovascular markings. The doctor said she's got tuberculosis and put her on this Rizorine kit. But what's really bugging me is the doctor mentioned it's not contagious. Is it common for TB to be non-contagious, or could there be some misunderstanding here?
