Question

I've been dealing with mucus in my stool for the past six months, and it's getting worse. Sometimes it clears up, but other times it gets quite excessive. I'm also constantly experiencing stomach pain. I've already had a blood test, and everything came back normal. I'm really worried and would love some advice on what I should do next. What's going on with me?

The symptoms you are experiencing, such as mucus in stool and stomach pain, could be indicative of a gastrointestinal issue. One possible cause for these symptoms is inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I recommend you to consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and diagnosis. In the meantime, you can try taking a probiotic supplement like "Align" once daily to help support your gut health. Additionally, you can take an over-the-counter antispasmodic medication like "Buscopan" as needed for stomach pain relief. Make sure to stay hydrated and follow a healthy, balanced diet rich in fiber.
