Question
I've been dealing with oral submucous fibrosis and have stopped using gutkha for 8 days now. While I've never had trouble opening my mouth, I did notice some white-grey patches inside my cheeks. I've been on medication and eating lots of fruits and green vegetables, as my doctor advised, for the past 10 days. I'm seeing some changes: the white color from the patches is mostly gone, and they've turned a bit black instead. Does this black color mean something specific? Should I be worried or is it part of the healing process?
