I've been dealing with this persistent issue on my left hip. There was a wound with pus, and the abscess drained by itself at first, but then it came back. It's been going on for about three months now. Initially, a general medicine doctor treated it by cutting it open and removing the pus. It healed over 30 days, but the pus has started to form again.
