Question
I've been diagnosed with Tuberculosis Pleural Effusion after some tests and a chest X-ray. I'm 35, generally healthy, and don't smoke or drink. The doctor has me on Rcinex, one capsule every morning on an empty stomach with Rifampin 450 mg and Isoniazid 300 mg for the first two months, and then the plan is to continue for a total of six months. I'm wondering if this treatment is enough to get rid of the TPE completely. I'm also feeling like my immunity has taken a hit, and I'm not sure how to boost it. Can you help me understand if this is the right approach for my situation?
