Question

I've been having neck pain since last week and even had a fever for one night. When I sleep, I usually have some discomfort, so I tried going without a pillow, which helped for a few days. I've also been sleeping under a fan at night. Today, I noticed a lump in my tonsil area on the left side of my neck, and theres pain on the right side, but the swelling is only on the left. I'm really curious and a bit worried about what might be causing this and how I can treat it. Any insights you can provide?

Fever that lasts for several days. Difficulty swallowing or breathing. If the lump gets larger or more painful over time. If there are any new lumps or unexplained symptoms that arise. get it evaluated by a doctor
