Question
I've been having some recurring issues after sexual activity, where I notice dryness and tears on my penis. There are also these small red dots on the head of my penis, but they don't seem too noticeable. When I searched online, it suggested it might be related to a yeast or fungal infection. I'm not really sure what to make of it, though. Could you give me some advice or thoughts on what might be going on?

Your symptoms, such as recurring dryness, tears, and small red dots on the penis head, could be indicative of several conditions, including: 1. Yeast or fungal infections: As you've suspected, Candida or other fungal infections can cause these symptoms. 2. Balanitis: An inflammation of the glans penis, often caused by poor hygiene, fungal or bacterial infections, or allergies. To determine the cause and receive proper treatment, consult a healthcare professional, such as a urologist or a dermatologist. They can: 1. Conduct a physical examination. 2. Take a thorough medical history. 3. Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., swabs, blood tests). 4. Provide personalized guidance and treatment.
