Question

I've been really worried about these red dot marks and the itching on my penis head that started about three weeks ago. I used to masturbate quite a bit, like around 5 to 6 times a week, sometimes even daily, but I've stopped since these symptoms showed up. Im wondering if it could be a yeast or some other fungal infection. I tried using coconut oil, and then some sand-like papules and red marks appeared, along with a bit of swelling inside the foreskin and occasional itching. I started washing with soap and lukewarm water regularly, retracting the foreskin, and Ive been using Patanjali coconut oil every morning. For the past three days, Ive been applying Lilifin Cream, an antifungal agent with Luliconazole 1%, at night, plus I'm having 250ml of curd and raw garlic every day. It feels slightly better, but I'm really anxious to know if this is the right treatment and how long I should continue using the cream. Can you give me some guidance or prescribe the dosage? I'm really stressed about this whole thing.

The antifungal cream you are using, Luliconazole 1% (Lilifin Cream), is a suitable treatment. You should continue applying a thin layer of the cream to the affected area once daily at night before sleeping. It is typically recommended to use this cream for 1 to 2 weeks, but it is important to follow your doctor's advice for the specific duration of treatment. Additionally, incorporating curd and raw garlic in your diet can help boost your immune system and aid in fighting off the infection. Make sure to maintain good hygiene practices by washing your penis with soap and lukewarm water, as you are already doing. If you continue to feel better and see improvement in your symptoms, you can gradually reduce the frequency of applying the cream as advised by your doctor. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to follow up with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.
