Question
I've been staying at a friend's place for a few days and now I'm getting incredibly itchy bites, but I can't actually see anything on my skin. I'm pretty sure I might have mites and it's driving me nuts. I've tried washing with a sulfur-based body wash for a couple of days, but it doesn't seem to help. Is there anything else I could do to get rid of these mites and stop the itching?

To combat mite infestation, in addition to the sulfur-based body wash, try washing and drying clothing and bedding in hot water and high heat, drying non-washable items in the sun, using a dehumidifier to reduce moisture, applying calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream to soothe itching, and considering over-the-counter permethrin or pyrethrin
