Question

I've been struggling with jock itch for a couple of years now, and it's been getting worse. The affected area keeps growing and now it's all over my butt. I've tried using antifungal soap and cream, but it never seems to go away for good. It just keeps coming back. What can I do to completely get rid of this? What's the best treatment to finally cure it?

Jock itch, also known as tinea cruris, is a fungal infection that affects the skin in the groin area. For persistent cases like yours, oral antifungal medications may be necessary for complete eradication. I recommend taking Fluconazole 150mg once a week for 4 weeks along with applying Clotrimazole cream twice daily to the affected areas. Additionally, keeping the affected area clean and dry, wearing loose-fitting clothing, and avoiding sharing personal items can help prevent recurrence.
