Question
I've been using Melamet cream for over a year and noticed good results, but I've recently seen some reviews saying it's actually not good for the skin. I've also heard that using hydroquinone doesn't cause any harm. I stopped using the cream about 10 days ago, and I haven't noticed any changes in my face yet. I'm worried though, is there a chance my skin might turn dark again? If that's possible, how can I keep the fair complexion I got from the cream? Would love some advice on this!

Melamet cream contains a combination of three active ingredients: Tretinoin, Hydroquinone, and Mometasone. Prolonged use of this cream can have side effects and may not be suitable for long-term use. Hydroquinone 2% is a safer alternative for skin lightening. To maintain the fairness on your face and prevent it from turning black again, you can consider using a sunscreen with a high SPF daily, along with a gentle cleanser and moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Additionally, you can use a skin lightening cream containing Hydroquinone 2% under the guidance of a dermatologist to help maintain the fairness of your skin.
