I've got this rash that's developed on my chest and shoulder. It started on Thursday as just a small itchy spot, but now it's a raised area that's hot and irritated to the touch. I've tried taking allergy pills, but they haven't made any difference. Could you let me know what this might be and what I should do about it?

This sounds like a case of contact dermatitis. I recommend using a topical corticosteroid cream like Hydrocortisone 1% cream applied to the affected area twice a day for 1 week.
