I've had 3.5 distance vision for the past three years and wear glasses regularly. Lately, I've been seeing a lot about eye surgeries to get rid of glasses and contacts. I went to a well-known hospital for a consultation, and after some tests, the doctor said I'm eligible for LASIK surgery. They mentioned I could live glasses and contact lens-free after the procedure. But I'm a bit worried is LASIK really safe? Once it's done, will I actually be able to see clearly without glasses or contacts?

How much does LASIK eye surgery usually cost and who is eligible for it I've heard there are risks but not sure what they are exactly also why might someone decide against getting the procedure done

I've had a chalazion on my left upper eyelid for about 3 weeks now. I've been using CIPZEN D for the last 5 days and it's gotten a lot smaller, but there's still a tiny lump left.
