Question

I've had this headache and really sore throat for the past day, and now I'm feeling a bit nauseous too. I checked my throat out and my tonsils look normal, but I noticed I've got these three lumps in a triangle shape behind my uvula. Any idea what this could be? I'm thinking it might be the start of a cold, but I'm not sure how that's connected to the lumps.

The triangular formation of lumps behind your uvula, accompanied by headache, sore throat, and nausea, could be indicative of swollen lymphoid tissue ; however, it's essential to consult a such as an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist or a primary care physician, for a thorough examination and diagnosis, as the lumps may also be related to other conditions, such as tonsillar pillars or a viral pharyngitis.
