Question
I've had a lump on my scrotum for about 10-12 years now. It started as a small pimple but slowly turned into a bigger lump. It doesn't hurt even when I press it, but it looks bad and bothers me a lot. I'm worried it might cause issues later. Can you tell me if I can treat it with medicine or if I'll need surgery to remove it?

A spermatocele happens when a cyst grows in the epididymis, a tube in each of your testicles that contains fluid and unused sperm. It doesn't cause any pain, but you can feel a spermatocele as a tiny, firm lump underneath the skin of the scrotum. Spermatoceles are harmless and can't become cancerous
