Question
I've had recurrent shoulder dislocations it's happened over 1,000 times now. My doctor recommended surgery, but I'm unsure if it'll help. Will I be able to return to playing sports after the procedure? Does surgery guarantee a full recovery, or are there other exercises I can try to strengthen my shoulder instead?

Recurrent shoulder dislocations benefit most from arthroscopic Bankart repair—surgery helps resume sports with low recurrence if rehab is followed well.
