Question

I've had this white spot on my tonsil for a few days now, and whenever I touch it with a swab, it feels like a piece of rice comes out. It's happened a few times in the same spot, and even though I'm gargling with hot water and taking medicine, its not going away. I can feel something at the back of my mouth, but there isn't much pain. I've had tonsillitis since I was a kid, but this feels different. Plus, there's some pain in my ear. Could this be some kind of infection?

yes this could be recurrent tonsillitis if it is so better get it removed.visit ENT doctor for evaluation and appropriate management.

I've had these Circumvallate papillae for about 5 years, and just last Thursday, after dinner, I noticed some new bumps forming behind them. I'm not someone who smokes or drinks. I've been having this annoying ache in my right ear since the morning, and it gets really sharp whenever I burp. I'm kind of worried because I use earphones for long hours every day. Could this ear pain be because of that, or is it maybe something else?
