Question
I've heard fistulas can be treated without surgery what exactly does that involve? Is it something I can do from the UK, or would I need to travel? Also, does the treatment work the same for every type of fistula or does it depend on the case?

Treatment with fibrin glue is currently the only non-surgical option for anal fistulas. It involves the surgeon injecting glue into the fistula while you're under a general anaesthetic. The glue helps seal the fistula and encourages it to heal.
