I've noticed that my uvula seems to have gotten longer recently. Could smoking be causing this? What steps should I take to get it back to normal?

I'm really concerned because I used cotton buds to clean my ears, and now they feel blocked. I went to see a doctor, and instead of cleaning out the wax, they recommended a wax solvent. I'm really worried about my husband. His neck is swollen on the left side, behind the ear, and it doesn't hurt. Our ENT specialist did a fine needle test and the microscopy report says there's no sign of cassation granuloma or malignancy. They mentioned something about a reactive lymphoid aspirate and advised excision if there's clinical suspicion for Koch's. Can you help explain what all this means? We also tried two weeks of antibiotics and the swelling seems to be getting smaller. I'm trying to understand if we should still be concerned.

I'm noticing a hard bump on the side of my nose, just about an inch below my eye. I initially tried to squeeze it thinking it was a pimple, but nothing came out, and then it disappeared for about an hour before returning. Now it's hard and I'm wondering if it could be an allergic reaction to the nose pads on my glasses since I do have sensitive skin and a history of allergies. Could this really be just an allergy or should I be worried about something else?
