Question

I've noticed a new white patch on my neck below the chin, and it's quite visible after I shave. I've always had some skin discoloration on my chest and neck since birth, but this patch is new. I saw a doctor who gave me a cleanser and gel to use, and they also prescribed a single dose of Dicaris 150 mg. I'm a bit concerned about what this medication is for and how serious my skin issue might be. Could you help me understand?
