Question

I've recently discovered a lump under the skin on my mons pubis. It's not really painful at all, but it does hurt a bit when I touch it. Should I be concerned about this? What could it possibly be?

The lump you are describing could be a swollen lymph node, an ingrown hair, or a cyst. To help reduce any inflammation or pain, you can try using over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen. If the lump persists or becomes more painful, it is important to have it evaluated by a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.
