Question
My cousin has been having stomach pain and the doctor recommended hernia surgery based on her scan report. I'm not sure if surgery is really necessary could you take a look at the report and let me know if there are other options or if this is the best course of action? Just want to make sure we're making the right decision for her.

It's understandable to want to explore all options before surgery. While hernia surgery is generally the most effective treatment for painful or worsening hernias, some smaller or less symptomatic hernias might be managed with other approaches. It's crucial to discuss all options with your cousin's doctor and understand the potential risks and benefits of each approach
