Question
My tooth hurts off and on and my dentist says there's another tooth growing under it that needs surgery. Is surgery the only way to fix this or are there other options I can try first? I'm a bit nervous about going under the knife.

It's understandable to be hesitant about dental surgery. While surgery might be necessary to remove a tooth that's impacted or causing problems, there are also other options to explore before committing to surgery. Depending on the tooth's position, severity of pain, and potential complications, a dentist might recommend a non-surgical approach first, such as pain management or observation
