View allI'm dealing with a wet throat pretty often lately and sometimes I get a cough in the morning or evening. I saw a general physician, did a chest X-ray, blood test, and spit test, and everything came back normal. I've been on medicine for 10 days, but I don't feel like it's getting any better. Could you help me figure out what's going on?
Consider consulting an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist for further evaluation, as a wet throat and persistent cough despite normal tests and medication may indicate underlying conditions like acid reflux, postnasal drip, or allergies; the ENT specialist can perform a thorough examination, potentially using endoscopy or allergy testing, to identify the root cause and recommend targeted treatment.

I'm 21 and dealing with a septum deviation towards the right side plus a concha bullosa on the same side. My doctor mentioned surgery, but I'm wondering if it's really necessary. Do you think it's something I should go ahead with?
It is common to undergo surgery for septum deviation and concha bullosa if they are causing symptoms. The surgery is called septoplasty and it helps to correct the deviated septum and concha bullosa. It is usually recommended if you are experiencing difficulty breathing, frequent sinus infections, or other related symptoms. The surgery can improve airflow through the nose and alleviate symptoms. The doctor may also prescribe pain medication and nasal decongestants post-surgery to help with recovery.

I had sinus surgery back in 2011 for allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. These days I don't have the usual sneezing, cold, or post nasal drip but I keep getting this low-grade fever with body aches and a heavy feeling in my forehead. Could this still be sinus-related even though I don't have other symptoms? What treatment would work best and how long before I see results? Homeopathy didn't fully help last time but I'm hoping there's still a way to manage this.
