Can anyone tell me if Tugain 5 or Tugain 10 is better for hair loss and regrowth? I'm also curious about which one might have fewer side effects.
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
-For hair loss, Tugain 5% is generally preferred as it is effective with fewer side effects compared to Tugain 10%. Higher concentrations may cause more irritation, so start with the 5% version unless advised otherwise by your doctor.

View allI've got some blade cut marks on my hands that have been there for about 3 months now. I'm really hoping to get rid of these scars but I'm wondering if there's an alternative to laser treatment. Any advice on what else might work?
For older scars like yours, besides laser treatment, you can consider using topical silicone gel sheets or silicone gel. These can help improve the appearance of the scar over time. Make sure to apply them as directed by the manufacturer. Additionally, you can also try using vitamin E oil or creams containing onion extract to help reduce the visibility of the scar. Remember to keep the area well moisturized and protected from the sun to aid in the healing process.

I'm dealing with pimples and dark spots on my face, and I'm thinking about trying Betnovate cream. Is it a good idea to use it for these issues? Will it actually help, or should I consider something else?

I've been dealing with a boil just below my waistline and have been using a warm compress three times a day. It popped yesterday and when I took the bandage off this morning, I noticed there's a white scab with some blood. Is it normal for the scab to be white, maybe because of moisture or something?
Yes, it is normal for the scab to appear white, especially after it has been covered with a bandage and exposed to moisture from the warm compress. The white color is due to the accumulation of pus and dead white blood cells at the site of the boil. To help with the healing process, you can continue applying warm compresses to the area and keep it clean. Additionally, you may consider using an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment like Neosporin to prevent infection.
