Can a fissure with a small skin tag heal completely using just ointments and meds or is surgery the only option What treatments would you recommend for this
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, it's possible for an anal fissure with a small skin tag to heal completely using ointments and medications, especially if the fissure is acute. Surgery is generally reserved for chronic fissures that don't respond to conservative treatment.

View allI'm really concerned because I've been experiencing constant stomach irritation and this urge to go to the bathroom repeatedly, but it only results in passing a bit of mucus. This has been going on for the past two years, and I've noticed some slight weight loss over time. All my medical reports have come back normal, my hemoglobin levels are at 14, and CRP is at 1. There aren't any other issues with my body, but there's just a lot of acid in my stomach. I'm not sure what's going on, and I could really use some guidance on how to handle this. What should I do?
try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Avoid stress, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..take over pantaprazole 40 mg twice daily before food with above for 15 days....Consult nearest gastroenterologist

I'm noticing that I've been producing a lot more saliva recently, and I'm not sure why this is happening. I also tend to drink a lot of water throughout the day. Could these be related, or should I be concerned about something else going on with my health?
Excessive saliva production, also known as hypersalivation or sialorrhea, can be caused by various factors, including drinking excessive water, which can stimulate saliva production; other possible reasons include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), oral infections, hormonal changes, anxiety, or certain medications; consider consulting a dentist or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist to rule out any underlying conditions and discuss ways to manage excessive saliva production.
