Can I drink milk during my period?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Having a lot of dairy products is not the best idea, as it can cause cramping. Dairy products like milk, cheese, and ice cream contain arachidonic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid), which can increase inflammation and can intensify your period pain.

Milk Consumption During Periods
It's perfectly fine to drink milk during your period. Milk can be beneficial because:a. Calcium and Vitamin D: These nutrients support bone health and may ease menstrual cramps.
b. Protein and Hydration: Milk helps maintain energy levels.
-
Considerations
If dairy worsens digestive discomfort or bloating, adjust your intake. Otherwise, milk is safe and comforting as part of a balanced diet. -
Alternatives
If lactose intolerant or concerned about dairy, consider lactose-free milk or plant-based options.

View allI'm really worried because my periods have been irregular since I got married about a year ago. Things were okay for a few months, but then they went off track again. My last period was on February 9th, and now its March, and still nothing. I went to see a gyno on the 13th of March. She did a urine pregnancy test, which came back negative, and she prescribed me some meds like SYSRON-NCR for 10 days and BNC and CLEMENSTOL syrup for a month. Ive taken them, but nothing has changed. On top of that, Im feeling really unwell with body aches, along with severe stomach and waist pain. I want to conceive, but with everything going on, I'm not sure what to do next. Can you give me some advice?

I'm dealing with this constant tingling sensation in my anus and vagina, and it's really messing with my focus at work and even my sleep. Washing the area after urinating gives me some short relief, and sitting down after I've been walking or standing for long periods helps a bit too. I'm wondering if there are any natural remedies or maybe an ayurvedic solution that could help with this?
try drinking plenty of water to help flush out any potential infection. You can also try taking cranberry supplements or drinking cranberry juice to help prevent and treat urinary tract infections. Additionally, you can use over-the-counter antifungal creams like Clotrimazole for vaginal itching and discomfort. Make sure to maintain good hygiene practices and wear cotton underwear to keep the area dry and clean. If the symptoms persist, I recommend consulting a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.
