Can I drink milk during my period?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Having a lot of dairy products is not the best idea, as it can cause cramping. Dairy products like milk, cheese, and ice cream contain arachidonic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid), which can increase inflammation and can intensify your period pain.

Milk Consumption During Periods
It's perfectly fine to drink milk during your period. Milk can be beneficial because:a. Calcium and Vitamin D: These nutrients support bone health and may ease menstrual cramps.
b. Protein and Hydration: Milk helps maintain energy levels.

Considerations
If dairy worsens digestive discomfort or bloating, adjust your intake. Otherwise, milk is safe and comforting as part of a balanced diet. -
Alternatives
If lactose intolerant or concerned about dairy, consider lactose-free milk or plant-based options.

View allI've been having really heavy periods that last 10 to 18 days with clots and bad cramps. My ultrasound showed a bulky uterus measuring 73x47x55 mm with a 12-13 mm endometrial echo. There's also a simple cyst on my right ovary around 30x14 mm. Should I consider surgery for this or are there other options?
You need hysteroscopy and D&C. If you completed your family then you can go for mirena insertion.

I've been dealing with vaginal prolapse that causes pain when I pee or poop, and it gets even worse during my period. Sometimes it feels itchy too. I'm 5'6 and weigh 82kg could my weight be making it worse? I really want to avoid surgery if possible. Are there exercises or lifestyle changes that could help reverse it? Also, I'd love to start aerobics or other workouts to lose weight, but I'm worried it might make the prolapse worse. What kind of exercises are safe to do with this condition?
In my opinion first you should consult a gynaecologist personally. That it is prolapse or not. We can't diagnose online.
