My wife has a hole in her eardrum but there's no fluid it's dry. She gets a lot of pain sometimes. Can this be treated with just tablets? I really don't want her to go through surgery are there other options?

I've been noticing these holes in my tonsils for a while now, and it seems like they're getting worse. Is this something that happens normally, or should I be thinking about getting my tonsils removed?
It is normal.. Unless you are getting recurrent infection you need not remove
