Can STDs be cured?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Bacterial STDs can be cured with antibiotics if treatment begins early enough. Viral STDs cannot be cured, but you can manage symptoms with medications. There is a vaccine against hepatitis B, but it will not help if you already have the disease.

View allI'm trying to conceive but recently had 15 days of continuous bleeding after taking Siphene. My doctor recommended taking Progynova 2mg, but I'm a bit scared about how it might affect my chances of conceiving. Can you explain how Progynova works in this situation?
Since you have prolonged bleeding days ,doctor would have suggested you this.progynova is not a ovulation inducing drug. But it certainly helps to stop stop which is very important right now. It may alter harmonal balance but will not prevent ovulation. So this tab as such don't act as contracepive.

I've been diagnosed with an endometriotic cyst that's over 3 cm, and I've been on Ovral L for a few months. Now, the cyst's size has decreased to 2.5 x 1.5 cm. My doctor is suggesting I should consider early marriage and pregnancy. Is that really the only option I have? If I delay this, could I face infertility issues down the road, or are there any other complications I should be aware of?
