  1. Hair Fall and Medical Conditions:

    • Thyroid disorders and PCOD can cause hair fall due to hormonal imbalances.
  2. Role of Trichobest Hair Oil:

    • Contains ingredients to nourish the scalp and strengthen hair, potentially improving texture and reducing breakage.
  3. Limitations:

    • Hair oils do not address hormonal causes of hair fall.
  4. Recommendations:

    • Consult your healthcare provider or dermatologist to evaluate your condition.
    • They may suggest blood tests for thyroid levels and hormone balance.
    • Follow prescribed treatments targeting the root cause.
  5. Additional Tips:

    • Maintain a balanced diet, manage stress, and adhere to your medication regimen for better hair health.

In summary, while Trichobest hair oil may improve scalp condition, it is unlikely to fully resolve hair fall related to thyroid or PCOD without medical management. Consulting your doctor is advisable.

I'm a 30-year-old and I'm curious about how I might be able to increase the Y chromosomes in my sperm. Can changing my diet help with this? Also, is there a way to test the Y chromosome levels in my sperm?

Increasing the number of Y chromosomes in sperm isn't something that can be directly influenced by food habits. The sex chromosomes in sperm are determined naturally during sperm production. While there's no specific test to check Y chromosomes in sperm, you can opt for sperm sorting methods like sperm sex selection, which is available in some fertility clinics. It's always best to consult a fertility specialist for personalized advice.

I have thyroid nodules in both lobes - one is 4x4 mm and the other is 1x1 mm on the right side. The FNAC report suggests excision biopsy for possible papillary carcinoma, but my thyroid is enlarged with normal T3/T4 and TSH at 5.02 which is almost at the upper limit. Is thyroidectomy absolutely necessary or are there other treatment options to shrink these nodules without surgery?

thyroidectomy (thyroid removal surgery) may be necessary for larger or suspicious nodules, especially if the FNAC report suggests possible papillary carcinoma, other treatment options, such as watchful waiting, thyroid hormone therapy, or radiofrequency ablation (RFA), are available to shrink or manage thyroid nodules. The decision of whether to proceed with thyroidectomy or other treatments will depend on the size, nature, and suspiciousness of the nodules, as well as the patient's overall health and preferences.
