Dear Doctor, I delivered a baby girl via cesarean section. Since past week, I have been feeling weak. Today, I did a home pregnancy test, and it came out positive. I am worried because I recently delivered and am concerned about being pregnant again so soon. Could you please advise if this result is likely valid, and what steps I should take next?

You do not have to worry if it is positive, do not take any medication by yourself, B hcg level should be checked for confirmation of pregnancy

My girlfriend took a pregnancy test and got negative three times after missing her period for 2 weeks. She took Meprate for 3 days and got her period after 2 days with heavy flow for 5 days. Can she still be pregnant? Does Meprate cause periods even if you are pregnant? Please help.

Hi, my friend has had irregular periods for a long time, occurring once every 2 to 3 months. She consulted an allopathy doctor and all tests, including thyroid and scans, were normal. The doctor suggested it should improve after her marriage. She continues to have hair fall but no weight gain or loss. I suggested consulting an Ayurvedic doctor from Kerala. She is taking the medicines suggested by the doctor, but this time it has been 2.5 months and she has not got her period. Before that, her periods continued for 2 months, though the flow was very less. She is also worried about pregnancy, but they are not planning to have children for another 1 to 2 years. She did home pregnancy tests twice in October, once in the first week and once in the last week, after skipping her 2 month period. Just in case, the urine test was a false result. They are planning to go for a blood test. Is it possible that the home test was wrong both times, and can the blood test report be trusted?
