Doctor I am 11 days late for my periods. I had papaya and ginger to induce my periods but with no result. I underwent urine pregnancy test 5 days ago with 2 kits, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, but the result was negative. Is this a symptom of thyroid? If not, how many more days does it take for my period to come doctor?

Periods can delay for many reasons stress, hormonal imbalance, or thyroid. Papaya or ginger may help mildly, but dont guarantee a period. A negative urine test 11 days after missed period is reassuring. Thyroid issues can cause delay, but need blood test to confirm.

Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a Prolactin Test Test
