In an emergency situation, I accompanied a boy to the hospital after he fell from a building. Five hours later, he was declared COVID 19 positive. We were shocked because his main issues were trauma related, with loss of consciousness and inability to use his hands and legs. How reliable are RTPCR and Rapid Antigen Test results in such situations? How does this affect people like us who were asymptomatic but in close contact? Can an asymptomatic person spread COVID 19, and if yes, for how many days are they contagious?

Asymptomatic individuals can spread COVID, especially 2 days before symptoms and up to 10 days after infection. RTPCR is reliable but can rarely be false.

View allI am traveling to Nagpur on 9th September, and my second vaccine dose is scheduled for 28th August. Since Maharashtra requires a negative RTPCR test for entry, I plan to take the RTPCR test on 7th September. Will my RTPCR report show positive because I took the vaccine dose on 28th August, or will it be negative?

Hi, I want to know. I got a COVID rapid antigen test after my blood report showed CRP at 52.4. My result was negative. Is this not the final result of my COVID test and do I have to wait for another report? If so, what is the other report if this is negative?
