Question
Hello Doctor, My mother has a history of low blood sodium levels, which has previously caused sudden unconsciousness, and she also has a history of thyroid issues. Today, her blood test shows a TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) level of 4.59 mclU/mg. An earlier test report showed TSH as 9.9, but the unit was microIU/mL. Which unit is correct, and how should we interpret these results?

Both units are standard (mIU/mL). Current value is within normal range, continue monitoring if symptomatic.
