Hello doctors, I had my periods on 18th June. I am on Normoz DS for PCOD. My periods are generally irregular and 10 to 15 days late. I am trying to conceive. I checked for pregnancy at home and the tests were negative on both 23rd and 27th July. Please advise what I should do. I am also having a throat infection and the doctor prescribed Augmentin. Is it safe if I am pregnant? I am very scared regarding my periods as well.

Normoz helps improve ovulation in PCOD. If both pregnancy tests (23rd and 27th July) are negative, you may not be pregnant. Augmentin is safe in early pregnancy if needed. Repeat a Serum beta hCG and see your gynecologist if period still does not come in 5 days. Do not panic PCOD often delays periods.

View allIf a pregnancy test shows one dark line and one light line, does it indicate pregnancy? I checked with a home pregnancy kit yesterday and again after few days and both times showed this result. My last menstrual period was on 1st June, and my cycles are usually on time. My period has not yet arrived this month. What should I do, and how many more days should I wait before testing again?

Received my report of HCG test where the result says 79.20. What does that mean? Female pregnancy section is blank. Then week of gestation is mentioned. Comment says reference range: Male and non pregnant females.

We had unprotected sex, and afterward, we checked for pregnancy three times using home tests, all of which were negative. However, period has not occurred for the past 40 days.
