Hello, I was diagnosed COVID 19 positive with mild symptoms and quarantined at home while taking necessary precautions and medications. My follow up test was conducted and I received a negative result. I want to get an antibody test done, but I have been told that it is necessary to wait a few days after recovery for antibodies to form. Could you please advise exactly when I will be eligible for the antibody test? Additionally, if the test shows sufficient antibodies, when would I be eligible to donate plasma?

Do antibody test 3 to 4 weeks after recovery for accurate results. You can donate plasma if antibodies are sufficient and you meet donation criteria.

View allHello Doctor. I faced coronavirus symptoms and did not go for any test, but now I have fully recovered. After 4 weeks, I took an antibody test by Thyrocare. My IgG antibody level is 1.89 and total antibody level is 4.34. I want to ask if the level of antibodies is low and will I be safe from future coronavirus infections? My second question is when should I go for the vaccine? I have also attached my test report. Please have a look.

I recovered from Covid on May 2 and was tested positive on April 15. Should I get vaccinated now or should I wait for a few weeks? I took an antibody test last week and no antibodies were found in my report.
